It`s an honor to work with Sunrise to help bring this series to conclusion for our North American fans." MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM UC is based upon the best-selling novel by Harutoshi Fukui (Aegis). These seven OVAs were originally released on Blu-Ray in Japan beginning in 2010 with the final release of the series scheduled for Spring of 2014. It features theatrical quality animation and the entire series is directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi who is known for directing HUNTER X HUNTER and LE CHEVALIER D’EON. Yasuyuki Muto is the writer and music is provided by the talented Hiroyuki Sawano. The DVD series will be released in North America over four volumes. Each volume will contain two one hour OVAs per volume with the exception of Part 4, which will feature OVA 7 and additional extras. Sunrise’s Director Masayuki Ozaki said, “We are extremely pleased that MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM UC, which Sunrise considers one of its most important titles, will now be fully available on DVD for North American fans.
