A SCIFI JAPAN EXCLUSIVE
A new poster was recently revealed for the Japanese release of Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures` KONG: SKULL ISLAND. Now -- direct from Warner Bros. Pictures Japan -- SciFi Japan has the latest design in a much larger size and higher resolution than seen before. KONG: SKULL ISLAND will be released worldwide in 2D, 3D in select theaters, and IMAX beginning March 10, 2017 from Warner Bros. Pictures. The Japanese release date is March 25, 2017. The film`s Japanese title -- ????????????? (Kingukongu: Dokurotou no Kyoshin) -- translates to "King Kong: Giant God of Skull Island".

A lifelong fan of monster movies and special effects films, Kaida has become one of Japan’s premier monster, robot and hero artists for magazines, books, posters and packages for models, home video and music software. His works have included daikaiju like Godzilla and Gamera, more than 100 home video package illustrations for the Ultra Series, and a similar number of GUNDAM plastic model packages. He supervises the fanzine Special Effects Are Here!, produced artwork for the Tokyo Fantastic International Film Festival posters, and designs characters for animated works and films.
