In the footsteps of the massive international smash that was GODZILLA MINUS ONE comes a new Kaiju!
A combined military task force travels to an ancient Japanese Island, searching for the missing members of a construction team, currently in the process of building a new military base. Once there, they find a foreboding, fiery landscape that hides a terrifying threat, capable of destroying them... and all who venture near.
KAIJU: ISLAND OF FIRE is written and directed by former Hollywood stuntman turned filmmaker Andrew L. Phillips (WORLD WAR Z, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER). The film is produced by James H. Christy and Avery Guerra.
The latest round of cast additions to finalize the main cast are Philip Granger (BACKROOMS, TUCKER AND DALE VS EVIL), Yuki Morita (GODZILLA 2014, SHOGUN), Jason Schombing (TIME COP, X-FILES), Dylan Schombing (WATCHMEN, WARCRAFT), Jerry Trimble (HEAT, MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 3), and Seth Whittaker (BATWOMAN, X-FILES).
Starring Wes Wing (GODZILLA MINUS ZERO), Tom Constantine (SNAKE EYES, KAMEN RIDER: REIWA THE FIRST GENERATION, POWER RANGERS: DINO FURY), Robert Scott Field (GODZILLA VS KING GHIDORAH, ULTRAMAN NEOS, HOSHI 35) , Tomoko Ai (TERROR OF MECHAGODZILLA, ULTRAMAN LEO), Chuck Wilson (GODZILLA VS KING GHIDORAH), Masaaki Neguchi, Yoshiro Uchida (GAMERA THE GIANT MONSTER), Linda Miller (KING KONG ESCAPES, THE GREEN SLIME), Carl Craig (GAMERA VS VIRAS), Inge Murata (MONSTER X STRIKES BACK: ATTACK THE G-8 SUMMIT, SHIN GODZILLA) and Kent Gilbert (GODZILLA VS KING GHIDORAH, PEKING MAN).
The movie features a reunion of a trio of actors from fan-favorite GODZILLA VS KING GHIDORAH (1991) with Robert Scott Field, Chuck Wilson, and Kent Gilbert.
