Introduced in December 1969 in the Doraemon manga series by the creative team Fujiko Fujio, the time-traveling robot cat has been featured in three anime TV series, the second of which ran for an amazing twenty-six years. Beginning in 1980, Toho began releasing Doraemon animated movies... thirty-two films have been released to date, with a new entry scheduled for March, 2013.
