    Introduction

Gosho Aoyama's original manga series has passed 106 volumes, with a cumulative total of more than 270 million copies sold worldwide! The popularity of the DETECTIVE CONAN series has proven to be at an all-time high, with the TV anime series having aired more than 1,100 times.

The Detective Conan movie series has a total audience of more than 100 million viewers, and the momentum is only increasing. The 27th movie, DETECTIVE CONAN: THE MILLION DOLLAR PENTAGRAM (名探偵コナン 100万ドルの五稜星(みちしるべ), Meitantei Konan 100 Man-Doru no GoryōboshiMichishirube)), released last year to mark the 30th anniversary of the franchise, exceeded 15.8 billion yen at the box office, breaking the record set by 2023's DETECTIVE CONAN: BLACK IRON SUBMARINE (名探偵コナン 黒鉄(くろがね)の魚影(サブマリン), Meitantei Konan Kurogane (Kurogane) no Gyoei (Sabumarin)) to become the highest-grossing film in the franchise.

With such immense profits, DETECTIVE CONAN: ONE-EYED FLASHBACK will have a lot to live up to when it releases in Japan nationwide this coming Friday... but the momentum of Detective Conan is unstoppable!

    Story

Mt. Mitakara in the Yatsugatake mountain range, Nagano Prefecture. Kansuke Yamato of the Nagano Prefectural Police was in pursuit of a "certain man" in the snowy mountains, when he suddenly spotted a mysterious slihouette. In the moment he was distracted, Kansuke's left eye was grazed by a rifle bullet fired by the "certain man." The echo of the gunfire caused a huge avalanche that swallowed Kansuke.

10 months pass.  After receiving a report that a researcher at the Nobeyama National Astronomical Observatory of Japan had been attacked, Kansuke, who miraculously survived the avalanche, and Yui Uehara rush to the crime scene. During their investigation, the observatory's giant parabolic antenna begins to move, and for some reason, Gansuke's injured left eye suddenly begins to ache violently...

That night, the Mouri Detective Agency receives a call from a detective known as "Wani," who was a close colleague of Kogoro's when he was at the Metropolitan Police Department. He is investigating the avalanche ton Mt. Miho, and Kogoro's name is in the case file. Kogoro promises to meet up with Wani. But as he and Conan travel to the meeting, a gunshot suddenly rings out.

An unfulfilled promise and a one-eyed flashback...

In the mountains, where the snow and ice are fiercly blowing, the curtain rises on a white-out mystery...
